A lecture with Larkin Jean Van Horn:
Time: Lectures are approximately 45 minutes to an hour.
Over the course of three years, I worked, almost exclusively, on a body of work for an exhibit that would have two showings. While the exhibit at the Latimer Quilt and Textile Center in Tillamook, OR allowed me to showcase some of my 3-D work with a selection of wall pieces, the exhibit at the LaConner Quilt and Textile Museum in LaConner, WA was able to hang all 85 of the wall pieces, but none of the 3D work. This lecture includes pictures of the entire exhibit and thoughts about working to deadline, in series, and the need for a breather from time to time.
