Make the most of a favorite candleholder, vase, teapot, urn, or other treasured work of art. Place it on a beautiful beaded presentation cloth designed to show it off. Working with the shape, colors, and function of a personal treasure, students will design a beaded textile that will enhance the pleasure of owning a piece. In the process, students will learn everything they ever wanted to know about sewing beads on fabric, designing for a specific space and function, and working with personal symbolism.
