Larkin's first book, Beadwork for Fabric Artists, was such a hit in the self-published version that Interweave Press (publishers of Beadwork magazine) commissioned an updated and expanded version. The hard covers conceal the same Wire-O binding of the original, allowing the book to lay flat on the table while you work. The same clear illustrations, and quite a few more, are included, with photographs of those stitches for additional clarity. Far more color photographs of Larkin's work are shown than were possible in the original, the entire book is a visual treat.

The book is now available for $21.95 plus shipping and handling. There are two options for US delivery, $6.00 covers Priority Mail delivery (2-3 days) in a corrugated box, $3.00 covers Media Mail delivery (2-7 days) in a padded envelope. (Shipping options for Canada and the rest of the world have not yet been worked out. If you can't wait, drop me a note to ask about your location.)

In the comments on the order form, feel free to ask for an inscription and autograph.

US delivery via Priority Mail $27.95 total first copy, $23.95 each additional
US delivery via Media Mail $24.95 total first copy, $22.95 each additional

In a perfect world, Larkin would stay in her studio, creating new masterpieces with the stereo on. This would be interrupted only for meals and the occasional excursion when curiosity (or the need for more beads or fabric) demanded. In the real world, she needs an income.

Some of the work displayed on this site will be for sale, you'll see a price and a link to the shopping cart on those pages.

Larkin's latest project, a new pattern for Fabulous Fabric Vessels, is now available for $15.00 plus $2.00 S&H. Seriously fun, easy to make, and the possibilities to use your beading and other embellisment skills are endless. (That's a "Fiddleback" at upper left, just one of five shapes in the pattern.)

Larkin has created three patterns for garments, specifically suited for working with pieced panels and subsequent embellisment. These patterns are published by P.A.W. Prints and can be ordered from them, through your local quilt or fabric store, or directly here. I have some general information about the patterns here, or click the titles below to go to the detail pages.

Hapi Harmony
Opera Coat
