A Frog's Eye View

Full quilt measures 22 x 23.5 inches

When I was a kid, I used to lie in the grass and get a bug's-eye view of the world. In this case, it's a frog's-eye view from his domain on the water's edge. But I don't think he's enjoying the serenity of the night or the elegant lines of the bridge. And he probably isn't musing about the beauty of the moon in the mist. He's thinking "Dinner!"

Techniques and Materials: Hand-dyed and airbrushed fabrics, machine
embroidery, dimensional applique, couched fibers, stuffed shapes, charms.
