Read more, and order the full exhibit catalog on CD. Feel free to look around at everything else too. Okay, it's not the latest, just the latest thing we've noticed. I've been keeping a blog for quite some time now, just never linked it from here. Please drop by from time to time: blog.larkinart.com. It's Good to be Green, an invitiational exhibit I curated for the Latimer Quilt and Textile Center, is now on display, and an exhibit catalog on CD is available. One piece each day, with all the photos from the catalog, is online as a sample. The "New Format" section of the website, long in development [far too long!] is now fully open. Older work as listed in the links at the upper right will gradually move to the new format or be retired, depending on the quality of the photography. Yes, that was a real weakness in my early years. Some of the galleries have a lot of images on them and may load slowly depending on your connection speed. Larkin's Galleries There is very little left in the "Old Style" section, we're working on moving the rest of it into the current format but Van claims there's a lot of work involved. The remaining parts are Quilts (one tiny section left), Garments, and Liturgical. Fabulous Fabric Vessels, almost too much fun, and you can order the pattern and make them yourself. Also check out the three wearables patterns I released, and any textile piece can benefit from the techniques in Beading on Fabric, all available in the LarkinArt Store. This site will get built in bits and pieces as my webmaster/husband has time between paying customers! |
