I had listened to one too many depressing newscasts, and decided that some positive action was needed. I decided to work with positive words for awhile, creating small collages that would help me focus on the good things that abound, if we would but look for them. The title for the series, “Shards”, comes from the fact that these pieces are all made out of my scrap box - materials that were leftover from another project. Ah! Recycling! Another positive word!
