Many cultures throughout history have worn symbolic pieces to ward off evil or illness; to insure luck or prosperity. I leave the interpretation of these talismans to the wearer.

All along the Oregon coast are “Tsunami Warning” signs and places designated as “Third Wave Safe.” This piece grew out of that. The spiral chain is from Suzanne Cooper's website. 1999
